Free Giant Microbe
Rockland Immunochemicals, has recently teamed up with Lonza, a global leader in life science products and services, to improve your western blot results. Lonza PAGEr™ Gels combined with Rockland’s extensive range of antibodies and antibody-based tools ensure consistent results with continual compatibility for western blot assays.
Western blot is one of the most common laboratory immunoassays performed today and identifies the presence or absence of important proteins to help detect post-translational modifications, diagnose disease and more. Western blot protocol uses gel electrophoresis to separate proteins according to their molecular weight. The proteins are then transferred from the gel to a membrane that is blocked with a protein blocking buffer to prevent nonspecific binding to the antibodies.
Lonza PAGEr™ Gels are easy-to-use, offer sharper resolution, more consistent protein transfer, and longer shelf life than any other Tris-glycine gel. Rockland Western Blot antibodies, blocking buffers and assay substrates enhance results due to their increased sensitivity, specificity and purity.
Researchers in a variety of disciplines have long trusted Lonza PAGEr™ Gels and Rockland Western Blot antibodies, blocking buffers and assay substrates for precise, accurate assay data. This collaboration will enhance research focused on apoptosis, the PI3 kinase pathway, cell biology, neuroscience, pathology and stem cell science.
