 Primary Antibodies
AKT Signaling Antibodies
AKT Akt family: Akt1, Akt2 and Akt3. These enzymes are members of the Serine/threonine-specific protein kinase family. Akt1 is involved in cellular survival pathways, by inhibiting apoptotic processes. Akt2 is an important signaling molecule in the Insulin signaling pathway. The role of Akt3 is less clear, though it appears to be predominantly expressed in brain.
Notch Signaling Antibodies
The Notch signaling pathway is a highly conserved cell signaling system present in most multicellular organisms. Notch is present in all metazoans, and vertebrates possess four different notch receptors, referred to as Notch1, Notch2, Notch3, Notch4. The Notch signaling pathway is important for cell-cell communication, which involves gene regulation mechanisms that control multiple cell differentiation processes during embryonic and adult life.
Virology Antibodies
Virology Rockland has developed a number of antibodies for Virology research. Several monoclonal antibodies to H5N1, also known as A(H5N1) or simply H5N1, which is a subtype of Influenza A have been generated. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 3C-like protease (SARS-CoV 3CLpro) is a relatively new identified type of coronavirus, SARS-CoV antibodies are also available.
Ubiquitin and UBL
Ubiquitin-Proteasome Pathway: Polyubiquitination of substrates targets them for degradation by the 26S proteasome. Ubiquitin is an evolutionarily highly conserved 76 amino acid polypeptide that is abundant in all eukaryotic cells. The consecutive addition of ubiquitin moieties to a substrate generates a polyubiquitin chain. The nomenclature of E1, E2, and E3 came from the identification of ubiquitin enzymes in eluates from ubiquitin affinity columns.
DNA Damage and Repair Antibodies
DNA repair refers to a collection of processes by which a cell identifies and corrects damage to the DNA molecules that encode its genome. There are two master kinases, ATM and ATR. ATM responds to DNA double-strand breaks and disruptions in chromatin structure,[1] whereas ATR primarily responds to stalled replication forks. These kinases phosphorylate downstream targets in a signal transduction cascade.
Extracellular Matrix Antibodies
Extracellular Matrix (ECM) regulates a cell's dynamic behavior. Collagens are the most abundant glycoproteins in the ECM . Collagen can be divided into several families according to the types of structure they form: Fibrillar (Collagen I, Collagen II, Collagen III, Collagen V, Collagen XI; Facit (Collagen IX, Collagen XII, Collagen XIV); Short Chain (Collagen VIII, Collagen X); Basement membrane Collagen IV.
Cancer Research Antibodies
Cancer Research Antibodies Rockland’s antibodies for cancer research are ideal in profiling proteins to identify candidate biomarkers, characterizing signaling pathways, and the measurement of changes in modification or expression level of cancer-related proteins. Antibodies have been characterized by Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot, IP, ELISA. Antibody specifications can be found on the product data sheet.
Cell Cycle Protein Antibodies
The cell cycle consists of four distinct phases: G1 phase, S phase, G2 phase and M phase. Antibodies to two key classes of regulatory molecules, cyclins and cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) along with Cell Cycle inhibitors (tumor suppressors) such as p21 and p27 are available. Cell cycle checkpoint antibodies (checkpoints are made up of composites of protein kinases and adaptor proteins) are also offered.
