CD69 Allophycocyanin Antibody Description

Background
CD69 is a 60 kD type II membrane protein composed of a 27/33 kD disulfide-linked homodimer, also known as Very Early Activation Antigen (VEA), AIM, EA1, MLR3, and gp34/28. It is expressed on a subset of thymocytes and platelets. CD69 is rapidly induced on activated T and B cells, neutrophils, and NK cells. It is a C-type lectin, closely related to the NKR-P1 and Ly-49 NK cell activation molecules. CD69 is involved in the early events of cell activation and thymocyte positive selection.
Immunogen
Anti-CD69 Antibody (Monoclonal) was produced by repeated immunizations with Mouse dendritic epidermal T cell line Y245.

Store vial at 4° C prior to opening.  This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid.  Dilute only prior to immediate use.  DO NOT FREEZE. This product is light sensitive.
Application Note
Anti-CD69 is useful for Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, and Flow Cytometry using mouse spleen cells, or an appropriate cell type (where indicated). Researchers should determine optimal titers for applications that are not stated.
Purity/Specifity
Allophycocyanin conjugated CD69 Monoclonal Antibody was purified from tissue culture supernatant via affinity chromatography and is directed against mouse CD69. Cross reactivity with CD69 from other sources has not been tested. Anti-CD69 is conjugated with APC under optimal conditions and the solution is free of unconjugated APC.
