Background

Donkey Serum is used as a component of bioassays, immunoassays or enzyme assays. Donkey Serum provides a broad spectrum of macromolecules, carrier proteins for lipoid substances and trace elements, attachment and spreading factors, low molecular weight nutrients, and hormones and growth factors that promote cell growth and health. Donkey serum is available as a sterile preparation for use as a cell culture supplement.

Target Details

Donkey serum was prepared from normal serum by delipidation and defibrination.  Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in multiple precipitin arcs against anti-Donkey Serum.

Store vial at 4° C prior to restoration.   For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below.  Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.  Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.  This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid.  Dilute only prior to immediate use. 
Expiration date is one (1) year from date of receipt.
