Immunogen: Anti-Rat IgG F(c) was produced by repeated immunization with Rat F(c) fragment in goat.

Purity/Specificity: Anti-Rat F(c) antibody was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Rat IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgG, Rat IgG F(c) and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Goat IgG F(c), Rat IgG F(ab) or Bovine, Horse and Human Serum Proteins.

Application Note: F(ab')2 Anti-Rat IgG F(c) Antibody is suitable for immunoblotting, western blot, dot blot, ELISA, and immunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency.
