Background

F(ab')2 Anti-Mouse IgM (mu chain) Antibody generated in Goat detects specifically Mouse IgM mu heavy chain. F(ab')2 Antibody was generated by enzymatic cleavage and subsequent separation from the Fc fragment. Because of their smaller size, F(ab)2 fragments offer several advantages over intact antibodies for use in certain immunochemical techniques and experimental applications. F(ab)2 fragments penetrate tissue samples and show better antigen recognition and signal generation in IHC. F(ab)2 fragments lack the Fc region and therefore do not bind Fc receptors which effectively lowers background staining. F(ab')2 Antibody is ideal for investigators who routinely perform flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry or IHC and other immunoassays.

Goat F(ab')2 Anti-Mouse IgM (mu chain) Antibody Alkaline Phosphatase Conjugated - 710-1507
Goat F(ab')2 Anti-Mouse IgM (mu chain) Antibody Alkaline Phosphatase Conjugation, Goat Fab2 Anti-Mouse IgM mu chain alk phos Conjugated Antibody
Goat
IgM µ chain
Alkaline Phosphatase (AP)
Polyclonal
IgG F(ab')2

Target Details

Mouse
Mouse IgM whole molecule
F(ab')2 Anti-Mouse IgM (mu chain) Antibody was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Mouse IgM coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation.  Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Alkaline Phosphatase, anti-Goat Serum, Mouse IgM and Mouse Serum.  No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin or anti-Goat IgG F(c). No reaction was observed against other mouse heavy or light chain proteins.

Application Details

ELISA
F(ab')2 Anti-Mouse IgM (mu chain) Alkaline Phosphatase Antibody has been tested by ELISA and is assayed against 1.0 ug of Mouse IgM in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2’-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code # ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:2,000 to 1:8,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for F(ab')2 Anti-Mouse IgM (mu chain) Antibody.
