USDA Certification

  

All products of animal origin manufactured by Rockland are derived from starting materials of North American origin. Collection was performed in United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) inspected facilities and all materials have been inspected and certified to be free of disease and suitable for exportation.

 

 

 

Material Safety Notice

 

Rockland produces reagents that are for in-vitro use only and are not intended for therapeutic or diagnostic applications. Products are sold for Research Use Only.

 

Standard Good Laboratory Practices should be followed when handling reagents. Appropriate specific measures should be taken to avoid skin and eye contact, inhalation and ingestion of any research product.

 

All human derived materials have been thoroughly tested by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved test methods for antigens and antibodies indicative of various diseases. All material was found to be negative for HBsAg, anti-HIV-1/HIV-2, anti-HCV 2.0 and syphillis. No test method can provide total assurance that hepatitis "B" virus, hepatitis "C" virus, HIV or any other infectious agents are absent. Therefore, all blood products should be handled at biosafety Level 2 as recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the National Institute of Health (NIH).
